The Luxating Elevator is a precision oral surgery instrument designed to sever the periodontal ligament with minimal trauma before tooth extraction. Its extremely thin, razor-sharp blade penetrates the periodontal ligament space with ease, allowing controlled luxation while preserving the surrounding alveolar bone and soft tissues.
By cutting the periodontal ligament rather than applying excessive force, luxating elevators help reduce surgical trauma and, in many cases, decrease the need for forceful extraction with dental forceps.
